Genesee County, MI — Hundreds turned out Wednesday for the Genesee County Health & Resource Fair in downtown Flint, helping make the event a major success despite hot and humid weather.

Held at the Genesee County Administration Building, the fair brought together county departments, local service providers and health organizations from across the community for a day focused on connection, access, and public health.

One of the highlights of the event was Genesee County’s new mobile health unit, COMPASS. Residents were able to step inside, see the unit up close, and learn more about how it will help bring important public health services directly into neighborhoods throughout Genesee County.

The event reflects Genesee County’s continued commitment to promoting healthy, safe, and livable communities. By bringing resources together in one convenient location, the County is taking another important step toward expanding access and strengthening community wellness.

Thank you to everyone who attended, participated, volunteered, and helped make the Health & Resource Fair a success. And a special thanks to Genesee County Health Officer Michelle Estell and her staff for all their hard work planning and executing the event.
