The Crim Fitness Foundation is adding a new challenge to this year’s Halloween Hustle — a 13.1-mile half-marathon showcasing some of Genesee County’s most scenic trails and parkland.
The Halloween Half, presented by Universal Coating, will make its debut on Saturday, October 24, at Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad as part of the annual Halloween Hustle races.
The new course will begin with a lap through Crossroads Village before heading onto the Flint River and Iron Belle Trail for the majority of the 13.1-mile route. Along the way, runners will take in views of Bluebell Beach, Mott Lake, Stepping Stone Falls and more!
It’s a course designed to showcase some of the area’s best outdoor recreation while giving runners a unique fall racing experience.
All Halloween Half finishers will receive a custom 4-inch finisher medal and a long-sleeve tech shirt to commemorate the inaugural race.
The Halloween Hustle also features additional race distances, offering runners and walkers of different experience levels the opportunity to take part in the Halloween weekend fun.
