Genesee County, MI — What an incredible two weekends at Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad!

This year’s Day Out With Thomas event was a tremendous success, welcoming 10,517 visitors to Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad over two weekends (August 14-15, 21-23).

That represents a whopping 67 percent increase over last year!

Day Out With Thomas has become a special tradition for families, giving young train enthusiasts the chance to experience the magic of Thomas the Tank Engine while enjoying everything Crossroads Village has to offer.

“Crossroads Village is truly one of Michigan’s most unique attractions, and we’re thrilled to see a record-setting turnout for this year’s event,” said Dale K. Weighill, Chairman of the Genesee County Board of Commissioners. “We’re especially grateful to our Parks staff, whose hard work and dedication made this incredible success possible.”

Events of this size take an overwhelming amount of planning and teamwork, and this year’s record-setting response made all that hard work worthwhile.

Most importantly, thank you to the 10,517 guests who joined us. Whether you traveled from across Genesee County or well beyond, we were thrilled to welcome you aboard.

And there’s so much more to explore with Genesee County Parks!
