Genesee County, MI — Our intrepid Genesee County Department of Senior Services staff braved the wind on Thursday at Mundy Miracle Commons in Mundy Township for the year’s first FREE shredding event for seniors.

The event was a huge success, with 196 cars pulling through and more than 12,000 pounds of confidential documents safely shredded.

These free shredding events are funded by the Senior Services Millage — your tax dollars at work!

The next shredding event will be held on Wednesday, June 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hyatt Elementary in Linden.
