Genesee County, MI — On Wednesday evening, the Genesee County Board of Commissioners convened its regular meeting at 5:30 p.m.
Here’s a recap of some of the action:
- Approved an agreement with ERG Environmental Services to provide for Genesee County’s Household Hazardous Waste Collection Program. This is one of the most popular services for residents in every corner of Genesee County.
- Approved a resolution declaring March 2025 as Women’s History Month in Genesee County. Click here to read the full resolution.
- Approved an agreement between Genesee County and New Paths Inc., in the amount of $250,000, to provide Medicated Assisted Treatment (MAT)/Medicated Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) inside the Genesee County Jail.
- Approved a Memorandum of Understanding between Genesee County and the University of Michigan-Flint for a Tuition Discount for employees of Genesee County.
- Approved acceptance of the Glow and Grow Grant Award, in the amount of $25,000, from Region 6 Perinatal Quality Collaborative to enhance birth outcomes, reduce health disparities and address underlying causes of inequities in Genesee County.
