Every day, Genesee County employees bring our organizational values to life through their dedication to serving residents and making a positive impact in our community.

This month, we’re proud to spotlight Nicole Ferguson, Park Naturalist at For-Mar Nature Preserve & Arboretum with Genesee County Parks.

Nicole exemplifies our organizational value of inclusiveness by helping people of all ages and abilities discover, explore, and appreciate the natural world. Through engaging educational programs and hands-on experiences, she makes environmental education accessible and creates meaningful connections between residents and Genesee County’s incredible parks and natural resources.

Nicole’s enthusiasm for nature is contagious, and her commitment to making learning fun and welcoming demonstrates the positive impact our employees have on the communities we serve.

We’re fortunate to have Nicole on Team Genesee! As this series continues, we look forward to recognizing more employees who put our organizational values into action every day.
