Please see the following public health and safety information from the Genesee County Health Department:

As high temperatures continue, Genesee County residents looking for relief from the heat can access air-conditioned public spaces at several locations throughout the community during regular business hours.

Please note: The locations on the County’s current list have confirmed that members of the public may use their air-conditioned space, subject to any site-specific requirements. These sites are commonly called cooling centers, but they are not formal emergency cooling centers unless local, county or state authorities declare and activate an emergency response. Hours and availability may change, so residents should review location details before traveling.
