Get a head start on your holiday shopping while supporting talented artists and makers at the 2026 First Frost Arts & Fine Crafts Fair, taking place October 24-25 at the Flint Cultural Center Academy.

Presented by the Flint Institute of Arts (FIA) Museum + Art School and the Founders Society, this annual event brings together a variety of artists and craftspeople showcasing unique, handcrafted creations. Located just a block from the FIA, the fair offers shoppers an opportunity to discover one-of-a-kind gifts while celebrating creativity and craftsmanship.

Visitors can browse works from new and returning artists featuring a wide range of materials, including fiber, wood, metal, clay, glass, mixed media, and more. Whether you’re searching for a special holiday gift or something unique for your own home, First Frost offers plenty of inspiration.

The event will also feature the popular Festival of Trees, showcasing handmade, one-of-a-kind holiday trees designed by local florists and designers, including a special celebrity tree created by ABC12’s Dawn Jones. Attendees can also participate in a silent auction featuring artwork by First Frost artists and enjoy a selection of delicious homemade baked goods.
