Genesee County, MI — On September 25, Genesee County residents, judges, attorneys, public servants, and community leaders gathered in downtown Flint to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Historic Genesee County Courthouse.

The centennial celebration honored a century of public service on Courthouse Square with the unveiling and dedication of new public art, tours of the courthouse’s original courtrooms and a community reception featuring food and live music. The event offered an opportunity to reflect on the courthouse’s important place in Genesee County history while recognizing the generations of people who have helped carry its legacy forward.
