The following statement is from Genesee County Board of Commissioners Chairman Dale K. Weighill:
“The Genesee County Board of Commissioners joins our community as we grieve the passing of former Genesee County Circuit Court Judge Richard B. Yuille.
Judge Yuille dedicated nearly five decades of his life to public service in our community, including more than 20 years on the Circuit Court bench and 14 years as Chief Judge. His unwavering commitment to fairness and justice strengthened our courts and left a lasting impact on Genesee County.
The Board of Commissioners, on behalf of the entire county, extends its deepest condolences to his family, friends and all those who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him. May his memory be a blessing to all who loved him.”
Chairman Weighill has ordered flags on county buildings to be flown at half-staff in honor of Judge Yuille’s life devoted to public service.
