Last week, Genesee Career Institute student Harbor Rooney spoke before the Genesee County Board of Commissioners at the invitation of Board President Dale K. Weighill. Rooney spoke about a series of murals created by GCI students at the Hammerberg Memorial VFW Post 3720 in Swartz Creek.
The project is part of a veteran awareness campaign called “We Are All in Debt to a Vet.”
