Take a look at the fine folks who participated in the 33rd Annual Walk for Warmth in Flint on February 28. The walk took place around the beautiful Flint Cultural Center Campus just east of downtown.
The Walk for Warmth is a statewide effort organized locally by GCCARD to raise public awareness about people experiencing heat-related emergencies.
There are 27 other Community Action Agencies, such as GCCARD, that hosted Walk for Warmth events in February. GCCARD sponsors many activities within the agency each year to raise funds for the Walk. All monies raised in Genesee County stay here to help families and individuals in need.
Walk for Warmth is still taking donations!

Thank you, GCCARD, and everyone who participated!
