Genesee County, MI — The Board of Commissioners voted unanimously to name the new Board Auditorium at the Genesee County Administration Building in honor of the late Commissioner Bryant “BB” Nolden.

Nolden was a friend, a beloved community member, and a man who will be remembered forever for his unwavering commitment to public service, education, and making a positive impact for Genesee County.

Several members of his family were in attendance to see the resolution’s passage. Numerous Commissioners shared their memories of Nolden, and specifically talked about the passion that he had for public service. In the future, the family will return for a formal dedication ceremony in the Bryant ‘BB’ Nolden Auditorium at 324 S. Saginaw Street in Downtown Flint.
