Genesee County, MI — On Wednesday evening, the Genesee County Youth Commission joined the Board of Commissioners for its committee meetings.

The Genesee County Board of Commissioners and Michigan State University Extension 4-H Youth Development program teamed up to create this commission as an advisory group for the Board of Commissioners. The Youth Commissioners, one from each of the nine commissioner districts, meet twice monthly from January until June to learn about county government and work to improve our community.

On Wednesday night, they made a presentation to the Board about way to promote environmental stewardship in Genesee County.
