We are proud to announce that five team members from the Genesee County Health Department have been selected to participate in the Leaders Transforming Public Health Systems (Lead-Transform) Program: Jessica Parks, Matthew Peters, Thelma Koger, Brittany Monge, and Blake Stephens.

Their selection is a tremendous honor and reflects the strength, professionalism, and leadership within the department. Our Genesee County Health Department was selected via a highly competitive process across multiple states to participate in this cohort.

Participation in this program will give the team an opportunity to strengthen their skills in collaboration, systems change, and public health leadership while learning alongside peers from across the region. The experience will help them bring back new ideas and strategies that can further strengthen the department’s work.

By investing in the growth of these public health professionals, we are making a positive impact on the residents of Genesee County.
