Honoring the hard work of our teammates is a tell-tale sign of a positive organizational culture. We cannot offer top-shelf programs and services to the residents of Genesee County without great people who are committed to their work every day.

So here’s to our intrepid group of GCCARD mobile meal drivers who have braved sub-zero temperatures this winter to ensure that our seniors never go without a meal.

They have displayed an incredible level of service and compassion to each of our Meals on Wheels clients. When being thanked for making deliveries, regardless of the conditions, they simply respond: “Rain, sleet, hail or snow…we’re working! They depend on us!”

We here at GCCARD are beyond proud of our Hunger Heroes and the great work that they do daily.
