Honoring the hard work of our teammates is a tell-tale sign of a positive organizational culture. We cannot offer top-shelf programs and services to the residents of Genesee County without great people who are committed to their work every day.

Today, we honor Rebecca “Becky” Brown for her 29 years of faithful service to the residents of Genesee County.

Becky began her career with Genesee County in July 1997 at the Genesee County Friend of the Court. One year later, she accepted a position as a Deputy Clerk in the Legal Division of the Genesee County Clerk’s Office. In 2001, she became a Court Clerk, faithfully serving in that role for over two decades.

In 2024, she was promoted to our inaugural Court Operations Specialist Lead for the Domestic Clerks.

Known for her unmatched accuracy, strong work ethic, and calm, kind demeanor, Becky has been a steady and reliable presence in the office. Her professionalism and attention to detail set a high standard and will leave a lasting impact on the team and the court.

We are grateful for her years of service and wish her all the best in this next chapter.
