The Genesee County Prevention Coalition is inviting local teens to participate in Discover Your Voice, a three-part Youth Advocacy Training designed to help young people build real-world skills to create positive social change.

What is Youth Advocacy Training?

Youth advocacy training equips teens with practical tools to speak up effectively, organize around issues that matter to them, and advocate for improvements in their schools and communities. Participants will strengthen leadership and communication skills while learning how to turn ideas into action.

  • Dates: February 9, 10, and 11
  • Time: 5:30–7:30 PM
  • Location: MSU College of Human Medicine, 200 East 1st Street, Flint, MI (Room 132)
Who Should Attend?

This training is open to teens who meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Ages 14–18
  • Genesee County resident
  • Available to complete all three days
Stipend and Food Provided

Teens who complete the full three-part training will receive a stipend for their participation, and food will be provided during the sessions.

Registration Deadline

Space is limited, and the registration deadline is February 2.
