Genesee County residents are invited to the Flint Forward: Cancer Research event on January 31 at the Flint Development Center (4121 Martin Luther King Avenue in Flint). This community event is designed to help more people learn about cancer screening and access services that support early detection, because catching cancer early can save lives.

Registration for the event begins at 10:15 a.m.

There will be a Town Hall event from 11 a.m. to noon to share information, answer questions, and connect residents with resources. Immediately after, a Mini Clinic will take place from noon until 3 p.m., providing a convenient one-stop opportunity to learn, get screened, and take practical next steps for your health.

Attendees can access complimentary service offerings, including health screenings, vaccines (while supplies last), and health education, as well as community amenities such as Bella’s Food Truck (while supplies last), water distribution, live music, and giveaways.
