Genesee County residents are invited to come together in reflection, unity, and service at the 47th Annual Citywide Tribute Celebration honoring Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This year’s program, themed “Preserving the Dream in the Midst of Turmoil,” offers an opportunity to recommit to Dr. King’s enduring vision—especially during times that test our resolve and compassion.
The celebration will be held Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Genesys Conference & Banquet Center, 805 Health Park Blvd, Grand Blanc. We are especially proud that the keynote speaker will be our very own Honorable Judge Mary A. Hood, whose message will help ground this tribute in the values of justice, community, and shared responsibility.
Presented by the Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. Planning Committee, this annual gathering is a meaningful way to honor Dr. King’s legacy and stand alongside neighbors committed to preserving the dream. Mark your calendar and join us for an evening of inspiration and community.
