Genesee County, MI – InvolvedDad is proud to announce the Third Annual Fatherhood Forum, a community gathering designed to support, uplift, and equip fathers and father figures across Genesee County.

This event is free to participants and will take place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the Gloria Coles Flint Public Library, featuring panel discussions, breakout sessions, resources, awards, and a keynote address from former NFL player Jake Lampman.

This year’s Forum offers fathers the chance to connect in a supportive environment while strengthening their roles as parents, partners, and community contributors. The afternoon program includes robust conversations, hands-on learning, and opportunities for meaningful peer connection.

“InvolvedDad is committed to creating spaces, not falling into them, but creating them, where men can be intentional about going somewhere to get help,” said Shon Hart, Co-Founder & Executive Director of InvolvedDad. “The same way they go to the doctor or the hospital, they should have a place to learn how to be a father. When we empower fathers, our communities are stronger. Because the children are more confident, they’re thriving, and they have access to one of the most important people in their lives, their father.”

The Fatherhood Forum provides an inspiring and supportive space for fathers, mentors, and father figures to gain tools that strengthen families and stabilize communities. Attendees will experience:

• Breakout Sessions addressing the real challenges men face in modern fatherhood
• Expert Guidance from trained facilitators and fatherhood practitioners

• Resources & Tools to help fathers stay engaged and empowered

Past forums have drawn hundreds of participants and sparked ongoing relationships built on accountability, strength, and encouragement.
