On Friday, local officials gathered alongside Mundy Township residents for the official unveiling of the new Senior & Enrichment Center Building in Mundy Township. The new facility is located in the Mundy Miracle Commons at 1286 West Hill Road.

District 4 Commissioner Dr. Beverly Brown attended the event along with Genesee County Clerk-Register Domonique Clemons and Senior Services Director for Genesee County, Lynn Radzilowski.

Dr. Brown offered remarks during the Ribbon-cutting ceremony, citing the new facility as another example among many of Mundy Township’s people-focused approach to community development.

“This Township has focused so much time, energy, and resources on moving the community forward while never forgetting the profound contributions of the senior community,” she said. “We all have aspirations for Genesee County. We want Genesee County to build upon its reputation for being one of the most senior-friendly counties in Michigan. This is another huge step in that direction, a direct result of the strong, visionary leadership of people, many of whom are in attendance today.”

On Saturday, the facility played host to a Family Day event with all kinds of activities for the young and young-at-heart.
