Genesee County, MI — The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren is back in Genesee County this week and promises to be bigger than ever! The Ally Challenge is a premier PGA Tour Champions event held annually at Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club in Grand Blanc Township with some of the best senior golfers in the world. The event runs August 21-24.
This year’s competition includes major champions like Stewart Cink, John Daly, Ernie Els, David Duval. Padraig Harrington, Vijay Singh and more!
Genesee County is a proud sponsor of the event which not only showcases world-class golf but also focuses attention on all that Genesee County has to offer. In addition, the event invests major dollars into our local economy and also gives back to our communities. The 2024 tournament raised $1,005,260.21 for charitable organizations.
Pro tip: You do not have to be a golfer, or even a golf fan, to have a great time at the Ally Challenge. There are all kinds of family-friendly entertainment and activities, including the Community Concert! Country music superstar Sam Hunt will headline this year’s show with multi-platinum certified country music star Dustin Lynch.
The concert will take place on the driving range at Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club, Saturday, August 23, 2025, following the second round of competition. Stick around after the concert to watch the popular drone show! The custom light show returns for a third year thanks to the support of Genesee County.
