Genesee County, MI — The Genesee County Health Department (GCHD) will be closed to the public August 1–8 as staff and services transition to a new space in Downtown Flint.

GCHD will be housed at the newly renovated Genesee County Administration Building, located at 324 S. Saginaw Street in Downtown Flint, on floors 4, 5 and 6.

During this time, all GCHD services, including those provided at the Burton Clinic, which is also moving downtown, will be unavailable. The public is encouraged to plan accordingly and access any necessary services in advance of the temporary closure.

GCHD will resume full public operations on Monday, August 11 at its new location within the Genesee County Administration Building.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this important move to enhance the accessibility and efficiency of public health services in Genesee County.

Announcements related to the transition will be found here at 1836 Place or on the county website at GeneseeCountymi.gov
