Genesee County, MI — On Saturday, nearly 300 people were in attendance for the Armed Services Resource Rally at Kettering University’s Atwood Stadium in Flint.

This year’s event was a partnership with Huntington Bank and Flint City Bucks. The rally brought together 48 vendors to support and recognize local military personnel, veterans, and their families. Last year’s event was held in Flushing’s Riverview Park after it was hosted in Davison the prior two years.

In the soccer match that coincided with the rally, the Flint City Bucks earned a 2-0 victory over Northern Indiana FC.

We want to thank our partners at Huntington Bank and the Flint City Bucks as well as all the vendors for their support of veterans. In addition, we want to acknowledge the hard work of our Department of Veterans Services staff (pictured above).

On behalf of the Board of Commissioners and all of Genesee County, we thank you!
