Genesee County, MI — The Midwest Invitational Rodeo is coming back to Genesee County June 13-14. The event will be held at the Genesee County Fairgrounds at 6130 E. Mt. Morris Road.
The Invitational is a celebration of the history and traditions of African-American cowboy culture featuring bull riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling and much more!
Earlier this month, the Genesee County Board of Commissioners allocated $15,000 from the Accommodations Tax Fund to support the event. The goal is for the Midwest Invitational to become a staple event in Genesee County, attracting visitors from all over the region.
