Genesee County, MI –– The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Commission is currently accepting applications to fill 3 Community Member seats and 1 Genesee County Staff seat. The positions are 3-year terms that begin on June 1, 2025.

The goal of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Commission is to increase awareness of social injustice and its effects, to improve fair and equal treatment for all, to enhance the county’s reputation as being welcoming to all, and to equip and empower people to resolve social justice issues by focusing on health equity. In addition, the Commission provides critical feedback on budget priorities in Genesee County, the hiring, training, diversification, and projects related to county
employees as well as public safety and procurement.
