Thank you to Genesee County’s Hearing and Vision Screening Program and Insurance Enrollment Assistance Staff for their tireless work in the community. In the midst of National Public Health Week, everyone is fully invested in a busy week serving the community.
This fiscal year the Hearing and Vision staff have provided over 20,000 screening services to pre-school and school age children around Genesee County. The Enrollment Assistance Program staff person has provided over 2,200 services to individuals in the community needing answers to Medicaid and Genesee Health Plan questions as well as resource referrals.
These staff members value providing excellent service every day, promoting healthy, safe and livable communities for all residents.

April is National County Government Month
Not only is it National Public Health Week, it is also National County Government Month. During this month, we will focus attention on the variety of services provided to residents as a reminder of our critical role in promoting healthy, safe, and livable communities across our community. With that in mind, we are first and foremost grateful for every member of our team and their role in providing the programs and services that help make Genesee County a great place to live and work. #NCGM #GeneseeCountyServes
