Genesee County, MI — A new era of music innovation will take center stage at Mott Community College (MCC) on March 21 when the College hosts its inaugural “Music Tech Industry Day.” The event will connect aspiring musicians and tech enthusiasts with professionals and educators in the field of music.

“This inaugural event will feature two special guest speakers and several local music industry professionals,” said Rufus Ferguson, MCC Professor of Music and Coordinator of the Music and Music Technology Programs. “It’s an incredible opportunity for you to connect with experts in the field, and potentially secure mentorships, internships, and job opportunities. Whether you’re looking to expand your network or gain industry insight, this event will be a valuable first step in your music career.”

Guest artists will be Brandon Williams, a Grammy-nominated musician and producer, and Luis Resto, an Academy Award-winning songwriter.

The Friday event will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Mott Memorial Building on the main campus on Court Street in Flint.

Space is limited to 50 attendees, and an RSVP is required to attend. To reserve your spot, click link.mcc.edu/javuji.
