Genesee County, MI — On Wednesday evening, the Genesee County Board of Commissioners convened its regular meeting at 5:30 p.m.

Here’s a recap of some of the action:

  • Approved an agreement with the Regents of the University of Michigan (UM-Flint), in an amount not to exceed $27,980.00, to provide data collection, analysis, and reporting services in support of the Genesee County Health Department’s strategic plan development.
  • Approved of the 2025 Genesee County Veteran Organization Relief Program
  • Approved of agreements between Genesee County and multiple vendors to provide scene investigation services for Genesee County’s Medical Examiner.
  • Approved a change order to the Granger Construction Company contract for the in-river work associated with the Flint River Restoration Project, increasing the total contract amount to $15,928,686.56.
  • Approved agreements between Genesee County and multiple vendors to provide scene investigation services for Genesee County’s Medical Examiner.
  • Approved a resolution to recognize February as Black History Month.
  • Approval of an agreement between Genesee County and Community Care Ambulance, in the amount not to exceed $27,000, to provide dispatching services to the Medical Examiner’s Office
