Genesee County, MI — The brand new interactive exhibit at the Sloan Museum of Discovery in Flint looks incredible! On Thursday, we had a sneak peek at 2theExtreme, which opens on Saturday, February 1. This exhibit is certain to be popular with the young and young at heart.
Here’s the best part: our kids will be having so much fun with the interactive stations that they may not notice they are learning principles of mathematics at the same time!
From Sloan Museum of Discovery:
Ride in a live action snowboard race, control a Mars rover, design and play your own video game, capture your image in a 360-degree freeze-motion video. Experience real math at work in sports, nature, robotics, music, dancing, movie-making and more. Thirty-two immersive, interactive exhibits where guests will experience the magic of math in action.
Hands-on educational experiences are major features of the re-imagined Sloan Museum of Discovery, which re-opened in 2022, after an extensive renovation and expansion.
If you haven’t been to the new Sloan Museum of Discovery, you must!
And, thanks to the Genesee County Fine Arts Millage, admission for all county residents is FREE and so is parking! Note: There is a $5 charge for the exhibit.
