Genesee County, MI — Members of Genesee County’s Department of Veterans Services (GCDVS) staff were honored to present an award to representatives from Huntington Bank on Tuesday, January 21, for their support of Operation Green Light for Veterans in 2024.

“Huntington Bank is always on the frontlines supporting our veterans,” said Derrick Britton, GCDVS Director.

This past year was the second time the county has been involved in Operation Green Light for Veterans. The initiative aims to raise awareness around the unique challenges faced by many veterans and the resources available at the county, state, and federal levels to assist them and their families.
