Last weekend, our GCCARD staff brought together community members for a night of fun at Colonial Lanes in Flushing. The event raised both awareness and funds to support the 32nd Annual Walk for Warmth.

The Walk for Warmth is a statewide effort to promote public awareness concerning people experiencing heat-related emergencies.  This program allows GCCARD to advocate and raise funds on their behalf. Participants raise pledges and then complete a Walk for Warmth organized group walk.

Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to the Walk for Warmth Bowling Night. Together, we’re making strides toward a warmer, safer community for all residents.
