NextGenesee is making one last push for broadband survey submissions as we wrap up the survey stage of our initiative. As a reminder, NextGenesee is a county-led project to establish an open access fiber broadband network throughout Genesee County. Our goal is to ensure that every resident, regardless of their location or income level, can connect to the resources and services that are essential for thriving in our increasingly digital world.

One of the goals of the survey, beyond the quality of the information we receive, is ensuring we have a broad geographic sample of submissions from communities across the county. As you can see on the leaderboard below, we have received submissions in every municipality in Genesee County! The numbers are weighted based on the population of the municipality, so there’s still some room to grow. Northern Genesee County is leading the way.
