This stunning oil-on-canvas work by Marianna T. Olague, a Mexican American artist who lives and works in Texas, has to be seen to be believed.

It is on display at the Flint Institute of Arts and, if you didn’t read the description, you might assume it’s a photograph. Long story short, it’s amazing and you must see it!

And here’s the best part: It’s free to see! Thanks to the Genesee County Arts Education and Cultural Enrichment Millage, admission to the FIA is free to all Genesee County residents!

The FIA is open Monday through Thursday from 10 AM to 5 PM, Friday from 10 AM to 8 PM, Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday from 1 to 5 PM.
