Genesee County, MI — The Foundation for Mott Community College honored our very own Commissioner Charles H. Winfrey as a Distinguished Alumnus at an awards ceremony Thursday, November 14.

Commissioner Winfrey represents District 2 on the Board of Commissioners and has been an advocate for his community for decades. He currently serves as Chair of the Board Health and Human Services Committee and is a member of Genesee County’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Commission

The 2024 inductees for the Distinguished Alumni Award are Charles Winfrey, Dan Kildee, Jasmine Cofield ,Patricia Scott Hill, Rebecca Garske, and Clara Blakley.
