The Genesee County Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Commission are saddened to announce the transition of our Commission member, Raynetta Speed. We are grateful for the decades of leadership, advocacy, and insights Commissioner Speed has given to the greater Genesee County community as a member of the DEI Commission and as a former Genesee County Commissioner.

She has demonstrated an outstanding career focused on community service. As an advocate for community, she has made a transformative impact locally, regionally nationally and globally. We extend our heartfelt prayers and condolences to the Speed family.
