Thanks to our friends at Huntington Bank, the iconic Downtown Flint Weather Ball was ablaze in green to remind Genesee County residents about Operation Green Light November 4-11.

The Genesee County Board of Commissioners is encouraging organizations, businesses and individuals across Genesee County to light up buildings, bridges, and other recognizable landmarks in green light. Residents can participate by simply changing one light bulb inside or outside their home to a green bulb.

By shining a green light, we let our veterans know that they are seen, appreciated, and supported, and we open up conversation about the needs of veterans and the services that support veteran communities.
