GCCARD’s Nutrition Services five Summer Youth Initiative (SYI) participants performed at a high level this year. They performed a multitude of activities including meal prep and packaging, light cooking, and completed office duties such as producing reports and filing.

Together, they highlighted Genesee County’s service, integrity and teamwork values. There were many days where they created and completed tasks without oversight, and we could not have had the successful summer that we had without them!
