Genesee County, MI — Following the Parks Commission meeting at For-Mar Nature Preserve & Arboretum on Thursday, Amy McMillan, the former Director of Genesee County Parks, was honored in front of friends and former colleagues.

Current and past Genesee County Parks staff and Commissioners, alongside members of the Huron-Clinton Metroparks staff, which McMillan now leads, gathered for a dedication ceremony honoring her tenure at the helm of Michigan’s largest county parks system.

From the Genesee County Parks:

This dedication represents Amy’s unwavering commitment, dedication, and the lasting impact she has made on Genesee County Parks for the past and future generations. We are deeply grateful for her leadership and the legacy she leaves behind. Thank you, Amy, for all you have done for our parks and our community!

McMillan served the county for nearly 20 years before leaving for her current position with Huron-Clinton Metroparks.
