Annual BioBlitz Event Attracts 600 Students to For-Mar Nature Preserve

Genesee County, MI — More than 600 kids representing 27 schools and homeschool groups were at For-Mar Nature Preserve & Arboretum on Friday for BioBlitz, an annual event put on by Genesee County Parks and UM-Flint!

This is an opportunity for scientists to engage and educate students about the importance of biodiversity through hands-on experiences.

For-Mar is the perfect venue for a large-scale field trip like BioBlitz. Check it out!
