Here’s a photo of Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer prior to joining Sheriff Chris Swanson and the staff at the Genesee County Jail for the 29th I.G.N.I.T.E. Graduation. Governor Whitmer gave the commencement address.
The goal of the I.G.N.I.T.E. program is to eliminate generational incarceration through education, by restoring value, hope, and purpose.
