The 7th Judicial Circuit Court is the constitutionally created court of general jurisdiction for Genesee County and is located in the heart of Downtown Flint.

The land upon which the courthouse sits has been the site of judicial proceedings in Genesee County since 1838.

The court is divided into two divisions: The Civil-Criminal Division and the Family Division.
