One of the real gems of Genesee County is Downtown Flint’s Capitol Theatre, located at 140 East 2nd Street. After its closure in 1996, the historic venue was resurrected through a massive renovation project and re-opened in 2017. The Capitol was restored to its former glory, and looks very similar today to how it would have looked when it opened in 1928.
