Genesee County, MI — Step into the Stanley School House Program, a captivating journey back in time. Nestled within Crossroads Village, the Stanley Schoolhouse served students from 1883 to 1963. Our program is designed to transport students and their teachers to a typical school day in the 1800s.
Enjoy this experience within our authentic one-room schoolhouse, guided by trained instructors employing teaching methods and materials true to the 1800s. To fully embrace the era, we encourage students, teachers, and chaperones to dress in attire reminiscent of the 1800s. It’s a hands-on opportunity to step into the past and relive a slice of history.
