Genesee County, MI — The Genesee County Metropolitan Planning Commission (GCMPC) is pleased to announce the 2024 Recycle Day event schedule for household hazardous waste and electronics collection. After multiple years of successful appointment only events, this format will continue into 2024. With appointments, residents will experience decreased wait times when dropping off their items. By attending these events, participants are supporting Genesee County’s goal of healthy, livable, and safe communities by taking part in a structured and organized approach to dealing with materials that pose a risk to Genesee County landfills, waterways, and community spaces.
Four Recycle Day events will be held May through August, occurring on the third Tuesday of each month.
The 2024 Recycle Day events are as follows:
- May 21, 2024
- June 18, 2024
- July 16, 2024
- August 20, 2024
Appointment registration will open two weeks prior to each event at 9 AM. Time slots for appointments and the event location will only be released when securing an appointment through GCMPC’s Eventbrite registration. Click Here for Registration Info or visit shorturl.at/nHJS7.
Proof of registration is required, in digital or printed format, to enter the event site.
